Made from 100% cotton, this classic grey striped tea towel features a charming polar bear wearing a red polka-dot scarf.
The polar bear began as one of my own drawings, which I’ve transformed into a fabric appliqué design. Carefully cut fabric pieces are stitched into place, with embroidered details bringing the little bear to life.
The combination of soft grey stripes, textured fabric appliqué and a cheerful red scarf gives this tea towel a lovely Scandinavian inspired feel, perfect for a cosy country kitchen.
Each tea towel is individually appliquéd and machine embroidered in our West Berkshire studio.

A Note About Our Raw-Edge Appliqué
Our polar bear features a raw-edge appliqué finish, intentionally designed to create a soft, rustic, vintage-inspired look.
A little fraying or loose cotton fibres around the edges is completely normal and part of the character of this technique. Some additional fraying may occur with washing, adding to its relaxed, timeworn charm.
The appliqué is secured with machine stitching to help keep the fabric in place.
Materials + Care
Each Delane Home piece is handmade in our West Berkshire studio using carefully selected fabrics and materials.
Due to the handmade nature of our products and the character of patterned fabrics, slight variations may occur between pieces, making each one unique.
Care: Fabric items are professional clean only. Lampshades should be gently dusted with a soft, dry cloth or lint roller. Keep away from excessive moisture and direct heat.

Ready to Ship items are dispatched within 1–2 working days. Made to Order pieces are created especially for you and can take up to 2 weeks before dispatch.
We currently deliver throughout the United Kingdom (excluding NI) using a trusted courier service. You’ll receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched.
